Tips before your 11+ exam day

1 – Before the exam, don’t cram in too much work. It will just add to the stress. Revising is a good strategy – you should be well prepared by now.

2 – For me, I found it helpful to take a ‘Fun day’ the day before all my exams. Many people opt not to do this, but I found it put me in a stress-free, positive state for the day of the exam.

3 – At every chance you get, try going to the toilet! You may not need to at the time, but going during the test is not an option as you won’t get extra time.

4 – Be prepared. Bring everything you may need…no harm in being overprepared. You wouldn’t want to be in a situation where you cannot answer a question because you do not have the right equipment.

5 – On the night before the exam, go to bed early. If you find it hard to sleep, listen to some calming music or read a book, but it is important to be fresh for the next morning.

6 – Don’t be worried or stressed! Do the best that you can, and you will surely do great.

Good Luck!
